Improving User-Experience and Scale

Read my approach to help Fit Learning rethink the layout and structure of their website to create a better user-experience for their team of scaling global learning centers.

SITUATION

Fit Learning has scaled their organization to create independent learning labs around the globe. But, the struggle

AN ALREADY BEAUTIFUL SITE

Fit had already invested in a beautiful website. There wasn’t need for a full visual redesign, but rather rethinking layouts, structure, and navigation.

THE DRIVE FOR BETTER UX

The biggest pain point needing to be solved was making it easier and simpler for users to find the information about the learning center nearest them.

LOCAL SEO

Each learning center needs to be given the tools and webpages to rank in their own local search market. The improved website needed to support that.

APPROACH

Research

All great design and SEO strategy starts with understanding what the market is searching for an what the primary intent of the visitor is.

Site Structure

We re-thought the structure of the website to streamline the delivery of content to users while giving the site room as fit continues scaling their business.

Dedicated center pages

For each learning laboratory to rank in their local search market, to required each having their own dedicated page and url tailored to their market.

INTERACTIVE MAPS

We stood-up a location-based map that allowed the site to identify a users closest laboratory and provide them with the link to its dedicated page and contact.
