I love data, great design, thoughtful UX, and, above all else, being part of a team that pushes the status quo. Good ideas become great ideas through collaboration, data, and sweat equity. My end goal? Help the brands, businesses, and individuals I work reach their goals, and crack a smile or two along the way.
As part of OnStrategy’s leadership team, I direct the strategy and operations for digital marketing, product marketing, design, and brand experience. My results:
•Growing OnStrategy’s YouTube from 17,000 to 84,000 subscribers by creating valuable and search-optimized content during the past four years.
• Led the top-to-bottom redesign of the OnStrategy website. I was the project’s lead designer, copywriter, and SEO strategist.
• Creating the go-to-market communications plan for OnStrategy’s redesigned core product, earning a 50% email open rate among customers.
• Brought a web community to market for strategic planning leaders, earning 1,420 subscribers and 50 customers between Q4 2022 and Q1 2023.
• Led the design, production, and SEO strategy for three website redesigns.
• Increased organic web traffic from 12,000 to 28,000 unique weekly visitors in 36 months using SEO best practices and content creation.
• Created 30 white papers that earned 27,678 downloads in 2021.
• Built an inbound digital marketing strategy that created 1,700 qualified leads, 278 discovery calls, and $1.2M in newly signed business in 2021. This represents 20% YOY growth for 2021 and 35% YOY growth for 2020.
• Created and led the go-to-market plan for OnStrategy’s Teams and Slack applications, visual collateral for the Microsoft and Slack directories.
• Assisted in creating the go-to-market strategy for two core product updates, earning a +70% customer training rate and a 10% increase in retention.
• Organically grew the newsletter from 10,000 to 44,000 in 24 months by creating high-value content and optimized landing pages.
• Served as the assistant designer and copywriter on a website redesign.
• Created high-design communication documents for clients, including Patagonia, Make-A-Wish, and The Mastercard Foundation.
Led a team to develop Giving Trail’s name, brand positioning, go-to-market strategy, and integrated marketing plan for the application launch.
I was selected to be a member of the NSAC Team for the University of Nevada to develop a $10 million dollar integrated communications plan for Mary Kay Cosmetics. My focus was the production of a high-design plans book to display both our marketing strategy and advertising creative. Selected to be a presenter by my peers, I helped earn second place for our team at the District 14 Competition.
I worked to develop business plans, conducted market research, created integrated media campaigns, and supported businesses within the Reno, NV market. Most notably, I worked with the University of Nevada Athletic Department on a communication plan and presentation for the $10 million dollar dollar renovation of Mackay Stadium.

I’m a proud nerd, dog lover, husband, and dad to two wonderful boys. I hail from Reno, Nevada, and have always enjoyed the big blue skies of the high desert.
My wife and I have spent the last few years remodeling two different houses. By remodeling, I mean that she Pinterests, and I do the work. That’s the way it’s supposed to be, right?
